We are looking for a dynamic junior designer to join our team. You will be working with our designer on high-end residential projects so an understanding of high specification detailing and accuracy is important. We acknowledge that this person may or may not have experience working within an AV company and will need training and mentoring as they develop their career within a vibrant and growing company.

Hours: 8 – 5pm

Salary: To be discussed

Based: Office based

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

• Helping our Head Designer to complete all projects within allocated deadlines
• CAD skills are vital – 2D & 3D proficient with experience using AutoCAD & Sketchup
• Experience with detailing and producing drawings which include equipment layout, fabrication elevations and sections of media walls & Audio Visual Headends
• Competent in preparing technical drawings from sketches
• Constructing positionals & schematics for clients, architects, engineers & installers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Software familiarity should also include: Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Ability to use initiative, self-motivated with good organisational skills
• An active interest in home technology and Audio Visual Equipment is a must
• Have the desire to learn new skills and become and vital member of the team
