Central London
This expansive residence seamlessly integrates advanced technologies, boasting 23 zones of multi-room audio and 14 high-definition video rooms, all powered by the versatile AMX product range. To maintain the aesthetic integrity, a meticulous selection of speakers was undertaken, aligning with the room’s aesthetics and sound quality requirements. The integration of external weatherproof TVs on the terraces and Sony’s latest LED TVs within the house ensures a comprehensive audiovisual experience.
The cinema room takes center stage with a remarkable 137” motorized drop-down projector screen. An eight-handset B&O DECT phone system, tailored to each user, simplifies telephone line management from a single handset, harmonizing with each room’s color scheme. The robust Cisco solution for the data network ensures corporate-grade security and reliability, augmented by dual internet connections for seamless business operations from home.
Security measures include an intruder alarm system with internal motion detectors, perimeter window and door contacts, and Redcare for police response, ensuring the client’s peace of mind. Covert external CCTV adds an extra layer of surveillance accessible remotely and viewable on any house TV.
Lutron emerged as the preferred choice for lighting control and shading, featuring the Homeworks system. Custom-engraved Lutron wall stations control whole-home lighting scenes, complemented by ultra-quiet motorized window treatments. The AMX control system, operated via in-wall touchscreens and Apple iPads, unifies all systems under a user-friendly interface.
Notably, the AMX Smart Home System incorporates the Trend Building Management System for heating and cooling management. To meet specific heating control requirements, custom code was written to seamlessly connect the AMX system with the Trend system, showcasing the bespoke nature of the integrated home technologies.
