The Thames Quay Apartment was best suited to a customised Control4 System which controls video, music, lighting and motorised window treatments. The bulk of the equipment has been stored in a centralised rack to keep the ‘clutter’ in the rooms themselves to a minimum.

The video system has been designed to support 4 sources of video (Sky HD, Apple TV etc) being sent in Full HD to the TV’s in the Living Room, Kitchen and both Bedrooms.

Furthermore the Living Room also has a 5.1 surround system utilising Artcoustic speakers & a very discrete Velodyne in-wall subwoofer. Sound from the subwoofer is vented via small grooves in the skirting board for an almost invisible sub woofer install.

 The multi room audio system, is like the video, also based on a centralised system with the Control4 Amplifier providing 5 zones of audio. The client can access music via Spotify, music stored on their iPads and iPhones or via TuneIn internet radio.

The Lutron lighting solution is their latest Homeworks QS system which offers ultimate flexibility and reliability. Each circuit of light in the home is controlled via Lutron keypads, these keypads also have blind and curtain control. The buttons have been engraved following review and consultation with the client for a truly customised result.

Further to the systems mentioned we have also included a full managed wired and wireless data network utilising the latest Ruckus access points for a secure and reliable wireless performance.
